Sheriff Doug Gillespie has set an example of failing to hold CRIMINALS accountable, meaning anyone who breaks a law is in fact a criminal. However, when it’s a peace officer even if done for the wrong reasons, no one is held accountable. Now if someone shot the sheriff or a family member, would he be saying the same thing?

A citizen’s board ruled to terminate officer Jacquar Roston for an obvious lack of respect for firearms and the safety of the people. Yet the sheriff is allowed to overrule the decisions of those board members whom some are normal citizens.
